This covers the contractor’s time for a standard job and Karua’s fee. Parts and consumables are added in your estimate, so you see the full price, parts included, before you book.

What’s included

  • Work area setup and unboxing
  • Component sorting and hardware preparation
  • Assembly of furniture structure
  • Final adjustments, mounting and debris removal

What changes the price

  • How many pieces of furniture you need.
  • The parts and materials for your job.
  • Anything unusual about access or the work, which Karua asks about before pricing.

If the contractor finds extra work on the day, Karua prices it and nothing goes ahead without your approval.

How booking works

  1. Describe the job and see your estimate. There is no ringing around and no haggling.
  2. Book online. Karua places a hold on your card to confirm the job.
  3. Karua books a vetted contractor, licensed where the trade requires it.
  4. Payment is taken when you approve the work, or 12 hours after completion (at 8am if that falls overnight) if you don’t respond.
